Dr. Shikha Prasad (P.E.) is a co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Srijan LLC. Prior to this role, she served as a Senior Nuclear Physicist at SLB (previously Schlumberger), an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nuclear Engineering at Texas A&M University (TAMU) and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. She has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and patents, graduated nine Masters and Ph.D. students, and has led several sponsored projects as a Principal Investigator. She received a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Nuclear Engineering & Radiological Sciences, University of Michigan–Ann Arbor and a graduate certificate in Science Technology and Public Policy from the Ford School of Public Policy, University of Michigan–Ann Arbor in 2012. She received an M.S.E degree in 2007, and a B.S.E. in 2006 from the Department of Nuclear Engineering & Radiological Sciences, University of Michigan–Ann Arbor.
She is a 2022 DOE-Nuclear Energy Distinguished Early Career Program Awardee. She is the recipient of the 2021 American Nuclear Society Certificate of Governance and the 2017 ANS Young Member Excellence Award. She was awarded the Early Career Research Award – Department of Science and Technology – India in 2016, the University of Michigan Rackham Barbour Fellowship in 2011, and the University of Michigan College of Engineering Regents Fellowship in 2006.

Capt. Vijay K. Prasad is a co-Founder at Srijan LLC. He brings with himself over 40 years of experience in Operations Management. His expertise lies especially in marine and off-shore management and regulations, having led operations at Eagle Shipping and Armada Shipping in the U.S. In the past, he founded and led A&Z Marines to become a pioneering company in maritime recruitment. He has sailed as a Master on several flag vessels, including, Bergshav Shipping (Norway), Ugland Shipping (Norway), Belships (Norway), Trader Shipping and Navigation (London), and Shipping Co-orporation of India. He has a Master’s degree from the State University of New York – Stony Brook. He has been decorated by the Government of India National Maritime Award.
Gaurav Pandey, Ph.D.

Dr. Pandey is the advisor at Srijan LLC. Dr. Pandey is an Associate Professor at the Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution (ETID) department of Texas A&M University. He is an experienced professional working in the field of autonomous vehicles and robotics, with significant achievements in applying artificial intelligence (AI) techniques for 3D
lidar processing, sensor data fusion, 3D mapping, and localization research. He has been working in AI and machine learning field for over a decade and his experience in applying these tools to robotics applications will greatly help in this project. Dr. Pandey previously worked at Ford Motor Company as a Technical Leader in the automated driving division. At Ford, he not only worked on basic research problems, but also helped to bring technology to production. One of his key contributions at Ford has been the design and development of the mapping and localization software for the production driver assistance feature Bluecruise. This is Ford’s first hands-free driving feature, launched in 2021, that enables the driver to have a stress-free driving experience and alert the driver in case of an emergency so that accidents can be avoided proactively. He earned his B-Tech from IIT Roorkee in 2006 and completed his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in December 2013. He currently serves as the Associate Editor for the ASME Journal of Autonomous Vehicles and Systems and for the IEEE Transactions on Systems,
Man and Cybernetics.
